Fabrication of a AGC Bar and Overdenture
1st Office Appointment
- Take preliminary maxillary and mandibular impressions for fabricaiton of custom tray
Laboratory Step #1
Please allow 2 working days for the following laboratory procedures
- Pour maxillary and mandibular preliminary cast

- Fabricate custom tray
- Fabricate baseplate and occlusal rim
2nd Office Appointment
- Take facebow (please provide articluator if other than Denar or Stratos)
- Make centric bite record using occlusal rim
- Take impression with pick-up impression copings utilizing GC resin to join impression copings togther
Laboratory Step #2
Please allow 5 working days for the following laboratory procedures
- Pour master model utilizing lab analogs in die stone

- Mount cast on adjustable articulator (Denar or Stratos)
- Set up full denture
- Make verification jig using GC resin screwed down to the master cast
3rd Office Appointment
- Screw down verification jig in the mouth and verify fit with an x-ray to confirm the accuracy of the impression and teh master cast; if there is any discrepancy, section and lute together with GC resin; the lab will reset analogs on the master cast to this new relationship using the same jig
- Wax try in of full denture
Laboratory Step #3
Please allow 10 working days for the following laboratory procedures
- Fabrication of gold bar

- Fabrication of AGC sleeve
- Fabrication of Suprastructure (metal frame)
- Duplicate master model with bar
- Silicoat sleeve and transfer set up
- Process AGC Denture
4th Office Appointment
- Delivery of final AGC denture with bar
